The aim of this Bachelor's in Film Art program is to emphasis more on creative skills rather than technology. An introductory course in the fundamentals of film making during the 1st year will give them an overview of film production. The 2nd year onward the course focuses more on the topics like idea, concepts development, storytelling, screen play script development & Direction. The course is very well structured in such a way that the students get hands on experience on each of the processes of film making including photography editing & sound designing. More emphasis is given on aesthetic and creative part of film making. Our case study based approach will help student to understand the evaluation of Indian and International cinema, different narrative structures, different styles in film direction & creative editing. The students are trained to think artistically and critically and make films for various causes. We instill research-based approach to bring out the best in them. Through the course the student will have an opportunity to make an ad film/public service film, short fiction and documentary. In the final year the student will work on a graduation film in which he/she gets a chance to showcase their best creative skills.
