Course Duration and Materials

There are no specific enrolment timelines or examination dates or batches for this course. You can pursue the 30-hour online course from anywhere at any time as per your convenience. Upon successful registration and fee payment to GICED, you will receive access to an online portal that can be accessed from anywhere and at any time at your own pace with 24/7 academic support through live chat. The access to the course is valid for 3 months from the date of registration OR until you pass the internal and external exam, whichever is earlier.

Alumni of University of Mumbai working in any function (HR, supply chain, finance, audit, governance, procurement, branding) or role (entrepreneur, family business owner, professionals, employees) can also enrol for this Course to upskill and start a career in Enterprise Risk Management.

Registration and Study Process

Step 1: Register with GICED and complete fee payment. Registration link will be updated here on 15th October 2024.

Step 2: You will then get a 3-month access to the online learning portal from IRM India Affiliate where you can access study materials and also access the online portal and course videos at your own pace with 24/7 academic support through live chat.

Step 3: You will also receive a physical copy of the textbook at the provided address

Step 4: After 5 modules (1-5), you can appear for the internal online examination. Once you pass the internal examination the balance 5 modules (6-10) are activated and you can appear for the external online examination. The exams are conducted on an ongoing basis as soon as you complete online training. You have unlimited attempts to pass the examination within a period of 3 months. In case you pass BOTH the exams in the first attempt, your access to the online learning portal will lapse.

Step 5: Once you pass the internal and external examination, a marksheet will be generated by GICED as per the University academic schedule and 2 academic credits shall be granted under the Academic Bank of Credits.

Step 6: Candidates may then appear for the Supplementary Online Examination by the Institute of Risk Management (IRM, HQ:UK), India Affiliate for earning the IRM's Global Level 1 Certificate at an additional fee. Candidates will receive an email about the international certification process after passing the GICED internal and external examination.
